Wellesley Symphony Orchestra

The Wellesley Symphony Orchestra is an amateur American orchestra based in Wellesley, Massachusetts.[1]  It has presented classical, pops, and family concerts for 60 years. The Music Director is Max Hobart.

The Wellesley Symphony Performs primarily classical works. The 2008-2009 season included works by Barber, Beethoven, Brahms, Julia Scott Carey, Chadwick, Aaron Copland, Thomas Oboe Lee, and Tchaikovsky.

The WSO supports young artists through its Young Soloist Competition, the winners of which are featured at the annual family concert.
